Since our trail rides are exclusively private, your group will not share the experience with another party. This ensures that our guides can offer a more comfortable and personalized horse riding experience.

Half-Hour Trail Ride — $65 per person Approximately 30 minutes
Enjoy a relaxed introduction to horseback riding at NFS Ranch, specially designed for younger riders, first-time guests, or anyone seeking a shorter ranch experience.
Your horse experience includes:

One-Hour Trail Ride — $115 per person Approximately one hour
Our signature trail-riding experience at NFS Ranch takes guests deeper into the property, maximizing both time in the saddle and opportunities to embrace the beauty of our ranch.
Your horse experience includes:
- A horse selected based on your riding ability
- Basic safety and riding instructions
- A private, guided ranch trail ride
- Scenic views of our working Florida ranch
- A comfortable walking pace suitable for most riders
Best for: Couples, families, groups, first-time riders, and returning guests seeking the complete NFS Ranch trail riding experience.
Groups of 5 or more enjoy a discounted rate of $100 per rider.
Advanced Trail Ride — $165 per person Approximately one hour
Created for confident, experienced riders who seek more active horse experiences, our Advanced Trail Rides at NFS Ranch may include trotting or loping when trail conditions, horses, and rider ability safely allow.
Before riding at an advanced pace, each guest must demonstrate:
- Independent control of the horse
- A secure and balanced riding position
- The ability to stop and steer safely
- Experience riding at faster gaits
- The ability to follow the guide’s instructions
For the safety of our horses and guests, booking an Advanced Trail Ride does not guarantee trotting or loping. The guide will make the final decision based on rider ability, horse suitability, weather, and trail conditions.
Best for: Experienced riders who are comfortable and confident at the walk, trot, and lope while enjoying their trail riding adventures.
Before your ride
To enjoy horse experiences at NFS Ranch, riders must be at least five years old. Closed-toe shoes are required, and long pants are strongly recommended for safety and comfort. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your trail riding experience. All guests must complete the required waiver before riding. Please note that trail rides are subject to weather conditions and safe trail availability. A 10% deposit is required to reserve your ride, with the remaining balance due upon arrival. Deposits are nonrefundable unless NFS Ranch cannot reschedule due to a weather-related cancellation.
