Meet Naomi & Josiah The family behind NFS Ranch
For Naomi, horses have never just been a hobby—they’ve been a way of life.
She grew up in the saddle, spending her early years trail riding before entering the competition world at just eight years old. From barrel racing and rodeos to 4-H, jumping competitions, and winning her local Cracker Day Rodeo, Naomi developed into an all-around horsewoman with experience across several disciplines.
In 2020, she began sharing that experience by teaching riding lessons, and in 2021, she took over the ranch that would become NFS Ranch. Since then, the ranch has been built little by little, with a whole lot of hard work, big dreams, and a love for the western lifestyle.
Then there’s Josiah—the Texas boy who moved to Florida and found himself a cowgirl.
Josiah grew up playing sports, but over the past four years, ranch life has quickly become part of his story too. Naomi and Josiah married in 2026, and today they work side by side continuing to build NFS Ranch. While Naomi’s roots are primarily on the horse side of the operation, Josiah has become a driving force behind the cattle and construction side—helping build barns, improve the property, work cattle, and turn their plans for the ranch into reality.
At the heart of it all is family.
Naomi is a mom of two. Her daughter is following in her footsteps and now competes in barrel racing, while her son is a dedicated football player who still climbs into the saddle from time to time.
NFS Ranch isn't something that was built overnight. It's a family ranch that continues to grow one fence, one barn, one horse, one steer, and one dream at a time.
Together, Naomi and Josiah are building a place where families can experience horses, cattle, ranch life, and the values that come along with it.

About NFS Ranch
At NFS Ranch, we believe there’s something special about life in the saddle—and even more special about sharing the ranch lifestyle with others.
Located in North Fort Myers, Florida, NFS Ranch is a family-owned and operated working horse and cattle ranch built around horsemanship, agriculture, and creating experiences people will remember long after they leave.
What started with a lifelong love for horses has continued to grow into a diverse family ranch offering horseback riding, lessons, training, youth programs, cattle, and farm-to-family opportunities.
Horses & Horsemanship
Our horse program welcomes riders of all ages and experience levels. We offer beginner through advanced riding lessons, guided trail rides, barrel racing and performance instruction, horsemanship programs, youth camps, leasing, and competition opportunities.
Whether someone is climbing into the saddle for the first time or working toward their next competitive goal, we meet our riders where they are and help them continue moving forward.
We believe horses teach lessons that reach far beyond the arena—confidence, responsibility, patience, work ethic, sportsmanship, and respect. Our goal is to develop capable, well-rounded riders who understand not only how to ride, but how to care for, communicate with, and appreciate the horse underneath them.
Cattle & Ranch-Raised Beef
Cattle are another growing part of NFS Ranch and our vision for the future.
We raise cattle right here on the ranch and offer cattle sales as well as locally raised beef opportunities, giving families the chance to know more about where their food comes from and the people who raised it.
Our cattle program continues to grow alongside the rest of the ranch, with a focus on quality animals, responsible care, and keeping agriculture connected to our local community.
